Getting Started

Timeline: 1 week

  • Obtain pre-approved financing at your financial institution
  • Arrange deposit/down-payment
  • Review and complete
Looking For Your Home

Timeline: 1-12 weeks

  • We provide you with MLS® listings
  • Home showcases, drive-by viewings, signs and classifieds are great tools
  • Work to revise your needs/wants list and schedule viewings as required
Making An Offer

Timeline: Usually takes 1-2 hours

  • Write offer. The offer contains conditions designed to protect you and address all of your concerns.
Conditional Sale

Timeline: Usually within 1 week of making the offer

  • Deal with removal of conditions
  • Financing: Get mortgage approval
  • Inspections, etc.
  • PCDS, PID and possible deposit increase

Timeline: approx. 1-12 weeks

  • Arrange insurance
  • Meet with lawyer and mortgage broker to sign documents
  • Arrange for movers
  • Arrange for utility hook-up
  • Change of address notices

Timeline: Possession date

  • Take possession
  • We call you – expect to take possession around noon
